Traitor's motif began life as a happy accident during a bored day at work. With nothing to do, I was poking about in my sequencer and experimenting with new sample libraries and sounds when I accidently popped in this chord progression with the spiccato strings. It would take several months between tweaking and rewriting to come up with the final version - a hybrid of electronic and orchestral epicness.
